At Rise & Fall we have curated two cotton ranges. Our Soft & Smooth sheets are slightly more heavyweight, very smooth and luxurious feeling. Ideal if you like that five star feel and also great for hot sleepers. Meanwhile, our Crisp & Cool bed sheets is slightly more lightweight and 100% organic, so it’s great for super sensitive skin and hot sleepers.

You may think a higher thread count is better but it’s important to consider the weight and density of higher thread counts - they reduce airflow and therefore, the breathability of your bedding.

Depending on your sleep preference, we advise thread counts between 400 and 800 are the best.

Yes. Cotton bedding is straightforward to wash and maintain.

We recommend you wash your cotton bed linen every week ot two. Use a small amount of mild detergent and a little fabric softener, if desired, with a gentle 40℃ or 30℃ cycle. Tumble dry your cotton bedding on a low to medium heat, except for our cotton fitted sheets which will need to go on a low heat due to the elasticated rubber on the inside corners. All cotton bed linen can be ironed on a medium heat.

Cotton is hypoallergenic meaning it's naturally gentle against the skin. Avoid harsh chemical finishes while smooth, long-staple cotton is particulalrly well suited to people with sensitive skin.
