You can keep your white bed linen bright and in pristine condition by following these 10 simple tips:

1. Wash regularly (ideally every 1–2 weeks) to prevent dirt and oils from building up and dulling the fabric.
2. Wash your white bed linens separately to avoid color transfer from darker items.
3. Use high-quality detergent specifically designed for whites or one that contains optical brighteners. Note: residue from too much detergent can cause yellowing.
4. Select a warm cycle, unless the fabric care label specifies otherwise. Our bed linen can be washed on a 40° degree wash. Avoid hot water, as it can set stains or weaken fibers over time.
5. Pre-treat stains with a stain remover or make a paste using baking soda and water. For oil or makeup stains, gently rub liquid dish soap into the stain before washing. If any stains remain after washing, treat them again before drying, as heat sets stains.
6. Drying white linens in the sun helps to naturally bleach and brighten them. The sun's UV rays can also kill bacteria.
7. Avoid fabric softeners as they can leave residues, causing the fabric to become dull over time. Instead, white vinegar can be used as a natural softener which can also boost brightness and remove any lingering odors.
8. Store your white bedding sets in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, which can cause yellowing over time.
9. Avoid overloading your washing machine so your cycle can effectively wash your white linens.
