- What’s the difference between pure linen and linen blends?
- Pure linen is made entirely from flax fibres, offering maximum breathability and a natural textured handfeel. Meanwhile, linen blends combine flax with other fibres like cotton or TENCEL™ for a softer feel, added drape and reduced creasing.
- What is Future-Linen?
- Future-Linen is made from regenerated wood fibres and known for its natural softness. We see this modern fabric as a testament to eco-conscious luxury, combining the natural luxurious feel of linen with the advanced performance of TENCEL™ Lyocell.
- What is TENCEL™ Lyocell?
- TENCEL™ Lyocell is a soft, breathable and eco-friendly fibre made from sustainably sourced wood. Produced through a closed-loop process that recycles water and solvents, it’s known for its silky feel, durability and minimal environmental impact.
- Does linen wrinkle easily?
- Yes, linen naturally wrinkles due to its fibre structure but we love it. It's part of its charm. The creases give a relaxed, effortless look. If you want less wrinkles then opt for our linen-tencel blend called Future-Linen.
- Is linen see-through? Do I need to wear a slip or lining?
- Light coloured and lightweight linen can be slightly sheer. Some styles are lined but for unlined garments you may prefer wearing a slip or nude toned underwear for better coverage.
- Is linen itchy or rough on the skin?
- High-quality linen, like ours, is not scratchy. In fact, it becomes ofter with each wear and wash.
- How do I care for linen clothes?
- Linen may shrink slightly on the first wash but most can be machine washed on a gentle, cool cycle with mild detergent. Air drying is also best to preserve shape and softness. Always check the care label for specific instructions. You can find more details by taking a look at our linen care guide.
