Ideally you want jumpers and sweatshirts that can be worn all year round. From the coldest winter’s day to a beautiful summer’s evening when the temperature starts to drop. For that, you need to consider natural, breathable fibres – the kind that help regulate your body temperature and are moisture-wicking.

At Rise & Fall we have a small yet perfectly curated range to choose from. Available in three different natural fibres: cotton, cashmere and merino wool they allow you to choose the right layer for your lifestyle and weather.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our cotton and merino hoodies and sweatshirts are machine washable. Cashmere should not be washed in the washing machine. We advice hand washing with gentle soap or baby shampoo. Dry on a flat surface.

As all our menswear is in a permanent collection – designed to be worn year round, year after year – we don’t have end of season sales. We do sometimes offer promotions though. Sign up to our newsletter to be one of the first to find out about deals and discounts.

Of course, if your sweatshirt doesn’t fit, you can return it for a full refund. Just make sure it is unworn, unwashed and undamaged – and returned within 30-days of receiving the original purchase.

We believe in making clothes that will last for years to come. That’s why we choose durable, high quality materials like Australian merino wool, Mongolian cashmere and high quality cotton. Our merino is certified by the Responsible Wool Standard, to protect the welfare of the sheep and their environment. Our cashmere is certified by the Good Cashmere Standard, Bluesign and Oekotex.

In colder weather you can layer a long sleeve t-shirt under your men's crewneck sweatshirts or zip up hoodies. In fact you could layer a t-shirt, a crew neck pullover and a zip up hoodie on top – three cosy layers to keep the cold out.

A sweatshirt is a jumper that pulls easily over your head and is usually made of cotton but can be made of other cosy materials like wool. A hoodie can be pulled over your head like a sweatshirt or open at the front with a zip.

Natural materials are better for two reasons. For one they are much more breathable than synthetic fleece layers – which can make you feel quite sweaty. They are also 100% biodegradable so don’t create microplastics either in the wash or at the end of their life cycle.
